The base of this one is a Nerf Demolisher recovered from a Goodwill. After removing the internals and breaking apart the frame I began painting, I knew going in that I wanted a red and black theme but I ended up mixing a dark grey for the handle. After painting it all black I wrapped the base of the main frame with a rubber band so that when I sprayed on the red, both halves of the frame would match. The trigger, main spring, trigger catch and plunger were all replaced with new parts from Orange Mod Works. After reassembly the blaster is much harder to prime but it shoots full length darts straighter and further than its stock counterpart, more so when using half length darts.
