This is simply gorgeous. Vapor has always been something of a favorite of mine, both because she's a lovely girl and because I have something of a weakness for sighthounds, especially salukis. And intricate tattoos. I love the elegant pose for this piece, and how it shows off her ink so well, and her expression as she peeks back over her shoulder is just lovely.

I'll have to admit that I'd be sorry to see her go, if that's what you decide. But I totally understand about wanting to focus on the characters who do inspire you, too, and sometimes some just work out better than others. I've enjoyed seeing the art you have gotten of her, and this is an amazing picture of her.

I think I would feel Better with her as a background character, this way I don't completely Shelf her, and I could still use her if inspiration strikes. I think that would be a better move, plus Id hate to sadden lovely people and fans of her like you~
