2023-2024 Prices [Preview] | Crit Wanted
Offering new commission prices and a new price sheet during December 2023. These are sketches by default rather than clean-lined with details like previously. Lines + details induce a surcharge per entity. The reason for this is so I can offer each sketch tier normally instead of having one sketch tier and adding add-ons on top of the sketch tier for flat colors, toning, and lined paintings. This is a much more compact manner of addressing this.
All images also have lines across them to display each crop tier (i.e.: head, bust, torso, knee, figure) for the sake of compactness. I decided to construct this price sheet to be more compact for ease of viewing when uploading in the default resolution for FurAffinity since FA decided not to allow full-resolution uploads anymore.
I've decided to potentially raise prices to set a fixed price according to the minimum estimated time it takes to complete drawings of each tier. It is typically $20 per hour—however, due to commissioners not typically enjoying what is essentially "PWYW commissions" for unfamiliar artists (even if it's X amount per hour, which is more straightforward where the only thing you're required to do is select a timeframe for the commission), I've decided to assemble this price sheet to be fixed price. Because of this, you will only be receiving a certain amount of time per commission for the tier you select. (e.g.: A one-character speedpaint with a non-scenic background will be completed within 6 hours. No more than this unless you're willing to disburse a fee.) If you would like more time, you will be required to disburse a surcharge per hour (minimum 15 minutes for $5). Your commission will be labored on intensively to meet this time, typically no less, which may indicate higher quality for simplistic commissions/characters (add-ons will automatically be applied to complex characters/commissions for an additional price).
If you would like to commission a different product (e.g.: icons, comics, animations) or would like to order based on a budget, you may order a standard $20 per hour commission which will include a surprise outcome that you will have little control over (depending on the amount you disburse).
Are these prices too elevated? Are these prices too low? Suggest certain prices in the comments below. If I deem the prices too low, I may not accept them due to my requirement to settle bills, food, clothing, and other expenses and my wish to accommodate these. No less than $5 for a sketch headshot and $75 for a speedpainted figure.
THESE ARE NOT PERMANENT YET AND FEEDBACK IS APPRECIATED BEFORE THESE PRICES BECOME LIVE. Will be scrapped later.
