Took a bit of a break to catch up on more of the Yakuza/Like a Dragon games, but here's another entry in the short story series featuring a familiar padded Pichu. Enjoy!

I love the Olympic Gymnastics feel of this story. It makes it easy to hear one of those announcers who is tasked to call out each step in a program that an athlete is aiming to complete while they make remarks on just how well, or if they truly can, succeed. :)

It is great seeing Pablo get more stories, too. He's quite the lovable, little Pichu whose mischief makes for quite the addictive read.
***
It is definitely clear that Pablo is also not ready at all to start potty training. This story, coupled with his amazing efforts in stair climbing, prove that a poopy pamper is no bother to this supercharged thrill seeker. (The relevance is in how parents are supposed to keep a watch out for signs that their child is ready to begin ditching their diapers so that introducing the toilet is less of a traumatic experience for their kiddo. Clearly, based on the mush-tush Pablo creates in his potty pants on his way to his rocking horse, Pablo may be ready for countless feats of physical strength and coordination, but he is still far from ready to relieve himself in anything except his pamps.).
***
One benefit of Pablo being so into being an escape artist cowboy is that it will run out his energy. He may not sleep during the day, like his parents would want him to, but he would be more likely to sleep through the night.
I now think of Pablo's parents trying to enjoy a movie together while cuddling close on the couch. They are excited to have some time during the day to enjoy each other's company... until they start hearing sounds coming from the baby monitor that let them know their precious Pichu is making mischief that will require mom and/or dad to investigate to make sure he is nnot going to get into any trouble. I guess they'll just have to put on Disney Jr. and be content watching toddler-friendly television together as their son works out more of that boundless energy that comes with being a happy and healthy kid whose world is still filled with wonder. :)
