I've heard exactly ONE piece of opera that I really enjoyed for it's own sake.

The Diva Mix, from Fifth Element. If there was a whole opera that sounded like that, I'd listen. But overall, nah.

Heh, took me a sec to figure out the format but I loved it. I really gotta get drunk and try to have a conversation with a character one of these days. I'm sure it'll lead to all sorts of shenanigans that I may or may not remember.

I really enjoyed the flow of conversation between Drunk-Off-Their-Ass Writer and Mr. Pretend Doggo-Kinda Guy. Discovering the true brutality of opera was a great moment ^^

Most enjoyable indeed. This makes me think conversing with my characters would make for quite the interesting discussion, but most of mine would probably just want to hit me over the head and leave.
