Zatani, a khajiit who lives in Skyrim in the Elder Scrolls Universe, wandering the icy reaches of the north. Striking auroras above and an unnatural stark landscape below. Walking the unknown path ahead.

This work is a little bittersweet to me. The character Zatani was my first character in The Elder Scrolls Online, where I discovered my love of roleplay and the friends I made along the way telling and taking part in stories of our character's lives in the magical world of The Elder Scrolls.

Pretty much everyone who I built a world with who knew the character Zatani has long since left the game and found other activities to take their time. As a result, the character Zatani doesn't have any stories to tell anymore since theres no one to tell them with. Thats the way it goes I guess, people lose interest and threads of stories and character relationships are left unfinished.

This work is kind of a send-off for the character, metaphorically walking into the sunset since theres no one left to tell tales with. A little tribute to thank the character for all the interactions I've had over the years. I remember them fondly and miss what they meant to me. I hope all the friends I made along the way are doing well, and finding fun in whatever they are doing.
