Ahhh holy crap, this is the first time I’ve colored something in a looong time. I just used the sketch for the lineart since that’s always my most difficult point, and didn’t bother with shading or anything. :C Its nice to finally do something past just a plain sketch though…
I might start making myself do these or some kind of coloring exercises more, maybe that’ll help me get over the stress of trying to do my full blown color commissions.
And as for the girl, this is an old character of mine named Vivian. I’m giving her a little bit of a revamp markings wise, and want to start drawing more of her again. Its been at least a couple of years now since I last drew her, and I don’t think my FA has any pictures of her.

I've discovered that if you take two fairly muted colors and then throw a bright and strong color on top of them, it tends to turn out really well for some reason. Vivian definitely adds credibility to that theory.
Also I never thought to ask--are the spots on the lower parts of her ears just spots, or some form of jewelry? I think I see a nose ring, too, so~ :3
Boob freckles are still adorable. They just are. Not sure why. 83
