Finally got around to doing up a quick character sheet for the second main character of the Exorcist/Ghost Adventures-inspired comic I'm developing and hope to start illustrating in 2024. It officially has a name now! The comic is going to be called "Knots & Crosses"

Gideon is a good-natured man who was quite literally chased into a life of priesthood by a legion of ghosts and demons. Ever since he was young, growing up in Madrid, Gideon has been unusually tuned in to the otherworldy activity going on around him. It started when he saw the spectre of his grandmother, standing in the corner of his room as a child. When he learned the next morning that she had passed away in the night, his course was set. Gideon would eventually move to Boston and join the clergy at St. Francis Catholic Church, although he might have thought twice about that if he'd known that New England was said to be one of the most haunted places in North America.

One day, after being recruited to assist in the Sacrament of Exorcism, a malevolent voice spoke directly into Gideon's head. Although he refuses to discuss what the voice said to him, it would cause a crisis of faith that would lead to Gideon requesting a dispensation and leaving the church he loved.

Now, seemingly on a mission to prove his value to God, Gideon travels around New England, seeking out those having problems of the...supernatural variety. Armed with a crucifix, a tattered Bible, and as much Holy Water as he could "borrow" from St. Francis, Gideon began helping the dead to cross over to the next life, and the living to sleep in UNhaunted houses.

Throughout it all, Gideon is paranoid that he will one day encounter the creature who already shook his faith once.
