At the start of the story the Otter family and Pinch were on a road trip to Orlando. The otters and Pinch are very excited for the trip. Jelly said to pinch that it was a good thing for her to come over. Peanut said It's too bad that Munchy and Flick could not come cause there in military camp for the summer. The parents offer who wants music on our way. Peanut said put on the chipettes I just love them. The speakers play a chipette song. They went to a big hotel resort called mermaid lagoon resorts. They said the hotel is a beast. They went in a giant lobby with many people. Jelly rave about the hotel in the elevator. She shouted There is lots of ballrooms shops restaurants an arcade and best of all a pool that can turn you into mermaids when you walk in with fish. They walked out the elevator the kids raced down the halls towards there room. The parents put there room key thru the slot and went in a big mermaid themed hotel room. They took a tour of the room. They looked out the window and can see the glowing pool out the window pinch hug a dolphin plush that they had on the bed. They got ready to go down to the pool. When the kids get down to the the mermaid pool they saw lots of mermaids in the water they read the pool rules on the sign it says no running no littering no pushing no glass food or drinks no pets no putting different water creatures in the pool like snakes and reptiles swim wear is required to turn into a mermaid no hats do not enter if you had drug's or alcohol no pregnant or injured people no elders or kids under the age of 5 as the potion do not work on them. They were lifeguards where a helmet and suit so they do not turn into mermaids. pinch went down the steps and turned into a mermaid she came out of the surface. She said I have a tail. Jelly said just like that clam at home. The 2 otters saw a water slide. They said let's go. Jelly rode the slide first and turned into a mermaid as she went in the water meeting pinch. Peanut went in next. They went exploring down the water. They were a lot of tropical fish. Pinch said its like swimming in an aquarium. They looked at there Tails and notice it changes colors every minute. There was a relaxing clam to relax on as they sat on there belly to sleep on. There was a sand bed on the bottom and made a underwater sand castle. They collect some sea shells. The gang chased a school of fish. They went to the surface and looked at a bridge over the water and a cave that went to mermaid grotto in the grotto there is a sidewalk to walk on there is a small bridge a hot tub there is a bar and water falls.
