Melissa growing up could be described as quiet. Even when becoming friends with Bailey and Suzu in 1st Grade, she was the quiet one. Happy just having friends and letting them drive the conversations, only giving short answers and talking very little. Life was pretty peaceful for most of Melissa’s life, eventually meeting VeeBee and Tammera through Bailey and adored the relationship they had. Then came “The Great Cloud” and Melissa (And Suzu) was put in a slightly worse position, for they found themselves transformed into anthropomorphic aquatic life that came with quite a bit of issues. The big one include the fact that all aquatic and amphibious Anthros need to keep their skin moisturized by either full submerging themselves in water, either fresh or salt water depending on the species they transformed into, throughout the week (minimum once a week) or else they can have serious medical issues befalling them. This is now why every Aquatic Anthro carries a spray bottle of their needed water around with them. At first the changes were hard to adapt to for people like Melissa and Suzu, but after a little bit, it became second nature. During which time, Bailey introduced Melissa to Luca, Frisk and Julius which she enjoys hanging out with a lot due to their want to do outdoor activities, a lot of them near bodies of water. More recently, she was introduced to Sara and her friends when Bailey merged her two friend groups. Personality wise, Melissa hasn’t changed except for a new found love for eating fish.
