"C'mon, Tikki! Time for a miracle!"

"Mowgli was always struggling to fit in as a human amongst wolves. Bagheera and Baloo mentored him as Alexander wanted but a human boy had to play catch up constantly in terms of reflexes and strength. To say nothing of how some of the pack still acted awkward at best, given Man's poor reputation amongst the wild.
And Lala... well, she was always one for saying the silent part out loud.
Often Mowgli dreamed of having a Miraculous like his father's, always catching sight of him in action. Anything to bypass his human limitations. Baloo and Bagheera always had trouble keeping him from snagging their Miraculous during their turn as Pack Ally. Suffice to say, he didn't have much confidence as being part of their hunts.
Leave it to Lala then to light a fire under him and get him to challenge her for his place in the pack. It started to seem like he bit off more than he could chew until he discovered a broken branch with just the curve he needed. When thrown right would return to him after hitting his target. Tikki, the Kwami of Creation, observed and found herself impressed.
As Ladybug, Mowgli would often find his human experiences come in handy as limitations indeed breeded creativity. When his Lucky Charm produced seemingly random objects, often ones that he hardly recognized, the gears in his head would whirl and make him take stock of his surroundings. What was vague to Chat Noire was suddenly crystal clear to him as their victory over any given Akuma clicked into place.
In time, he would come to value his unique skills as a man-cub over the enhancements of a Miraculous. Especially with a partner like Chat Noire in his corner. While he was on the ball and cautious like a man in the wild, the she-wolf was, as she'd proclaim, the wild card who brought the personality. A balance akin to Creation and Destruction itself.
Everything they needed for Shere Khan and beyond..."
As you can see, Mowgli shows that guys can pull off earrings too. Similar to Marinette, he tends to have low confidence in himself even with his family encouraging him and a mean girl keen to keep it low for her self-satisfaction. Though unlike Chloe (who needs a better villain arc), Lala's redemption will stick.
Also like the OG Ladybug, his Lucky Vision isn't a power but a visualization of his mind actually putting together a crazy scheme based on his tool and environment. Marinette got this from overthinking in her anxiety episodes while Mowgli got this from being a human in the Jungle where anything can and will happen.
