This is not a Furry story. It is, however, in response to a young fur's post about a family reunion and family members no longer with them.

i don't know what's going on, but I have words leaking out of me, and I am putting them here for now.

Thank you for the link. I was unaware of the video game, but I do appreciate the performance and sentiment. I find "The Bygone Days" from the anime Porco Rosso another song of days remembered.
