>> Alternate photo! <<Another picture of Elroy here trying his best to fit onto an armchair! This big leopard measured 3 feet long from nose to tail and took nearly 4 pounds of fiber fill. Elroy featured six panels of machine embroidery: one for his eyes, one for his mouth, and four paws all done in a silky blue minky fleece to match that big soft nose.
The ultra-soft printed looped fleece fabric was a wonderful chance find which really sold me on finally making a leopard! These detailed looped plush fleece prints can be sometimes found at Joann Fabrics in the US under the line "Sew Lush" and make for exceptionally colorful and textural plushies: this wonderful spotted print is item #16882128.
