When I do environment studies like this, I'll make a copy of my version and recolor it using the eyedropper from the source photo. Then I can compare how it differs from my painted impression.
If you're really in a hurry, copy the source photo to the top layer of your artwork, resize and place it to line up, then set the layer blend mode to color.
