Snowstorm, East Bay San Francisco style.

We had our hardest winter storm, such as it is, this past week.

This was taken JUST after sunrise, you can see the out of focus wet pine needles in the foreground with the golden glint. The birds flying through, even if they didn't slow down enough to be sharp were a lucky thing to have fly through during the shot. The lone palm tree vainly stays green as if to say "I'm not really all that cold."
