"M-mmph...! It's got such a chocolatey taste, and has all the calories you need to achieve that hefty body of your dreams! Just take a look at ME, see how I grew nice and big!"
"Okay! Good, good so far," the voiceover supervising roo said over the intercom, "the dialogue for this weight gain shake ad is coming along real well, Melon." Looking over to the blue roo through the observation window, the gecko gave a bashful smile. "Aw, thanks, Kygen. Not going too hard on it or anything?" Shaking his head, Kygen replied, "Nope, it's just right! In fact, I think that's about all we need for the actual dialogue. Now, we just need the sound effects. Did you bring what I asked?"
Kneeling down, the gecko reached into his backpack and pulled out a red can of Belch soda, giving Kygen a smile and a thumbs-up. "Got it right here!"
Cracking open the can of fizzy soda, the gecko pulled the microphone down to his gut before lifting up his hoodie, exposing his bulging red belly.
Kygen counted down, "Recording in three, two, one..."
With that, Melon put the can of sweet soft drink to his lips and began to chug and chug away, ensuring that his gulps were nice and loud so they could be picked up by the microphone even at its current level.
"Glp... Glrp... Glk... Ulp..."
Before long, his belly began to feel full, his stomach loudly beginning to rumble directly into the microphone as he finished gulping down the delicious drink.
Glrrrrrrgle... Glrrrrrrnnnn... Glrrrorrrp... Blooooorp...
"Hmph...! BHUUUUOOOOOOUUUURRRRP."
Instantly, Melon's cheeks went as red as his large belly as he slapped a hand over his mouth, allowing his hoodie to fall back down. Looking into the observation room, he gave the blue roo a sheepish smile. "Heh... Sorry. Don't think that take's any good now, is it?"
Kygen shook his head once more. "Oh, no, no, no, Melon! I think that could actually make this even better..."
Holy hell, this piece is so cute.
Kygen did a phenomenal job of making me look so... In my element as a voice actor, and I'm incredibly grateful for his work on this. Give him some love for it!
