After their first collaborated demon hunt job, Sindbad and Catheryne ended up fostering the five adorable kittens from the warehouse. The Indian wasn't particularly thrilled about the idea of babysitting kittens, considering it was her first time and she wasn't exactly known for her patience. Reluctantly, she agreed to help out. As they were settling in, Sindbad noticed that one of the kittens, a solid black one, seemed to be particularly lazy and would just loaf around all day. Catheryne named him Brax, and Sindbad found his laziness somewhat relatable.
Even though Sindbad was hesitant at first, she couldn't deny the charm of the little furballs. They seemed to have an uncanny attraction to her, climbing all over her and purring nonstop like motorboats. She eventually found herself enjoying their company, even if it meant her clothes were constantly covered in fur.
As the days went by, Sindbad's grumpiness slowly turned into an unconditional affection for the kittens. She would find herself playing with them, laughing at their playful antics, and even taking naps with them curled up on her lap. She knew she had developed a soft spot for these tiny creatures, but she would never admit it openly. After all, she was still the tough, badass driver who didn't have time for cutesy things like kittens.
One day, Sindbad approached Catheryne with a serious yet hopeful expression on her face, holding baby Brax in her hands. Taking a deep breath, she spoke in a slightly shaky voice, trying to mimic a traditional marriage proposal. "Baby girl, I... I wanna ask you if... if you'll adopt Brax with me. Will you give this little black shithead a forever home with us?"

Just wanted to make a feel good thing for myself. ;u;
