Jack Side Arc X: Hell's A Poppin' comic story page 6 of 8
Page 6 of 8 of a new 10th Jack side story. Myself illustrated it with Darkwing Dude. I did the traditional comic art both penciling and hand inking with actual brushes and nibs, comic page layout designs, lettering, etc. Darkwing only did the actual writing script I worked from. Don't have much to say about this page yet. But, Darkwing has posted the wrong version of the sixth comic page on his official jack website. I thought it was amusing funny. The wrong version is the uncleaned rough version of the page scanned in. He will fix it soon. Version here is the correct final cleaned up version page. Will update this writing section here with more information about how this page was made and how changes to the script was made. Think it as a upcoming commentary soon to be added on how this page was made and what choices were made.

I do know that respawn is a common thing in the Jack world. I was somehow confused about the whole respawning thing, when I found out any supernatural characters can do respawning after killed off. I'm like does that takes away from the dramatic sense of life and danger? Turning it more of a video game or something? xD. I wouldn't call it a throwaway line as it's a something that get talked about a lot during Jack stories, even does happens in many of the David's Jack comic stuff. It does somehow made sense, since souls can't really die in both heaven and hell tho. I heard one major character had his respawning spot moved over to the river of hot lava that keeps on killing him over and over. So the respawning can be stolen and owned, meaning Kane doesn't know how to find the respawn spot to get the fox back.

Alright. I'm gonna be honest I'm mostly into transformation stuff and I haven't really seen to much or if any at all of David's Jack comic and I don't think I heard of Darkwing Dude. If I had I forgotten them. Now with that said would you recommend I go check them out to get more context? Also the respawn being in a river of lava sounds like hell to go through.
Heh yes I figured. I'm more on the TF stuff than I'm on the Jack. Don't worry, you don't have to read and enjoy David's Jack to find out more. His stuff is unfortunately more x-rated grind house stuff more than mine. His stuff is not for most people. His art and writing isn't the greatest, can be difficult to sit though for many. However, it does seem to have huge fanbase of its own for years, it's been aging out tho as it's really old 00's webcomic today. Darkwing Dude is a fresh new writer to the world of Jack, he's a huge expert on Jack as he used to read them for ages. Jack was better known for its own emotional impact and was viewed as huge alternate take on furry horror at the time.
