Here's a rare sight in my gallery. Charlie, or "that raptor guy". As cheesy as the idea sounds, he's got a pretty heady story behind him. His external features really reflect his mental crisis and their veracity is questionable (though their effects...less so).

A few versions of him, both for the sake of experimentation and to show off some of the growing physical changes he experiences throughout the plot. The woman is his commanding officer. They're both part of a unit that underwent controlled gene doping to make them better soldiers (things like ultraviolet vision and more efficient metabolism). This is a little sci-fi mixed with weird fiction. Borrowing some elements from real science, but most of the elements are symbolic.
It is NOT a "Frankenstein" story. I dislike those, they're a dime a dozen and often gloss over the real plot possibilities of a genuinely science-based story. The story might be more comparable to something like 2001: a Space Odyssey and what HAL goes through due to conflicts in his programming (conflicts not anticipated or placed there by his original programmers). Not the same, but comparable.
