Dipper promised Muddypaws that he would attempt to draw him after Muddypaws drew him.

Dipper worked on this picture about ten minutes, then threw it away, tears in his eyes, saying, "I can't do it! It sucks!"

His uncle told him that Muddypaws knew that he wasn't an artist, and that he should not give up.

Dipper, being an emotional twelve-year-old refused.

Fortunately, he had not crumpled the paper, much, so Stargazer secretly retrieved it.
