Buffalo Wings Book 2 sample
Long ago when I was in college a friend of mine introduced me to John Nunnemacher's "Buffalo Wings" stories and I was intrigued. Here was a comic that was fun to look at, had a story that kept my attention, and was drawn like I wanted to draw. I thought it was great and eventually tracked down more and more of the stories till I had them all.
Later I'd get to know John personally and had a great time hearing his thoughts on comics, drawing, and storytelling. He's always got lots of activities to deal with which keep him from doing more comic work but I hold out hope to see more from him in time. In more recent years he finally did get a continuation of the Buffalo Wings storyline going with help from some other artist friends which I'm happy to say I was one. The new books are available for sale via Sofawolf:
