The story for this redesign is that. Since Sakura was depicted as an powerhouse type character that uses her chakra to make her hits have more oomph. So to emphasize it i designed this alternative version of her that's physically more buff, to show that she's a lady that can duke it out with the heavy hitters.

For story as to how she got to this, i would see Sakura training with Tsunade on the medical jutsu (like in the og cannon), but as well train with Team Guy to increase her physical strength so that she can keep up with Naruto and Sasuke in her own way.
