Varo Drizdal: Phoenix Chimera Form
In an effort to keep the Forester of the Beastlands safe from fatal harm, Nobanion has gifted the rather impulsive Harengon with a new form of power; one that combines all the animal spirits that he harnesses for his spells into physical form as he grows from 7 feet tall to 11 feet.
A lion’s mane & upper body for being a follower of the Lion King himself & providing the healing done to his body.
The spirit of the Drizdals, a Jackalope, forming the antlers & reflexes to match his ferocity.
A dragon’s wings & claws for his use of elemental chaos in his attacks.
A turtle shell upon his back & chest for protection against any attack.
A snake-like tail that can constrict around any foe to keep them at bay.
Finally, the spirit of the flame itself, the Phoenix that provides the Chimera’s trademark fire breath & the nature of rebirth within him.
The power doesn’t come lightly, however. Whatever Varo’s reservations or restrictions he’s put on himself gets wiped clean to a primal & beastly mind; who can’t tell the difference between friend or foe. His anger rules him in this form & if he’s not careful, could harm those whom he cares for the most. But with the right aiming & timing, this is one super rabbit you don’t wanna cross.
This is a new form made after defeating a major big bad within the adventures of the Campaign of Algorand played over Discord. It was a huge surprise to me & I couldn’t stop from making his form, albeit a bit limited as I could have gone with the multiple heads or the tail being a snake; but I feel confident in the design that I thought I’d share with all of you!
