Well...funtime for Chief at least. But I'm sure the other main Gilm enjoy it in some way. Or will learn too soon enough as Chief is clearly having a grand ol time with it all. And well he is the Chief so what he says goes.

I really just love how happy Chief is in this picture while also showing off his own Gilm hair. Its not often he gets to let his hood down and relax. Have a nice time thats not work. And since his lads respect him for the most part when he asked for assistance from Enket, Voch, and Kekkan on an experiment they were more than happy to agree! And look at how much they are enjoying their choice now! Chief even took off his gauntlets so he could better feel the rope he was using, their squirms against his hands, and helping to make sure those knots were tight. And off he goes in great spirits. Maybe to get everyone snacks, maybe to have a nap after some fun, or off to get some more rope!

As a former Mange warband leader Chief has experience with tying up captives, disobedient soldiers, and various beasts And while he wasn't a super fan of the work he did enjoy the feeling of power he got from it. Seeing whoever it was attempt to break from his hold or the rope but unable too! Before they finally accepted it and sat there defeated. Rope to him was generally always a work thing. Not a for-fun thing. But since leaving them to found Gilm its something he hasn't got to do it too often. And longing makes the heart grow fonder as he thought back to those times. Starting to think he did actually enjoy the rope quite a lot - and now without much chance the desire came back. He does relish the chance when he can to indulge this old interest. As you may have seen from the Quick Eats where he thoroughly wrapped up that naughty slave for Kritch. And he would have been pleased to know that his excessive amount of rope was then used to secure those Eshin Thralls to doom them to be dinner! So after Enket wakes up from episode 2 and writes his report Chief would be very interested in the surprise Enket was given from Mormel. But before contacting the Seer to perhaps borrow that book he decided to see what he remembered of the more fun side of ropes before potentially expanding his horizons. Heck he may be going to open the door to his chambers to allow Mormel inside! No doubt the Seer would eagerly accept an invitation see not only Enket again but a smaller Slave and bigger Stormvermin as well! So Chief can learn from not only the book but the horned expert as well!
