Always enjoy doing comics for special occasions and Cynthia's birthday is the most special of occasions. I had this idea for the longest time, really liked how it turned out. So yeah, introducing Cynthia's grandma, Nainai Yu-lan. She's a seasoned cook and owns her own restaurant. Michael looks up to her (not literally of course) for her cooking expertise but she is a harsh teacher. I also like having both of Michael's forms in this, kinda clever to use a flashback like that. Also, never have I related more to Michael than in his expression in that last shot, I've made that face many times.
