On display here, the LAMY 2000. It's an iconic German fountain pen sporting a 14K gold nib that's been in production since 1966.
It's a fantastic pen that is often a person's first gold nib pen given that it is one of the cheaper ones out there.
But I wouldn't recommend it as a first fountain pen overall given that the nib has a sweet spot. Meaning that you have to write at a certain angle or else it just won't put a line down. If you've been using fountain pens for awhile, the transition will be easy. Otherwise, it'd likely take a good minute to get used to it.
Anyways, here's Kuromi exploring the abstraction seen in that period (she will never make it home).
In conclusion, get the Kaweco Sport from the previous post as it's cheaper and is also an iconic German Fountain Pen.
