If you are in the US, know people who are, or are just concerned about online privacy, there are a whole host of bills coming up for votes soon that could majoring impact online privacy and freedom of speech.

EARN IT: Undermines end-to-end encryption, making everyone less safe.

KOSA: Harms kids and teens’ access to lifesaving LGBTQ resources and sex education.

RESTRICT ACT: Gives the president unprecedented power to police the internet.

AGE-GATING BILLS: Limit teenagers’ online access and force everyone to give ID to use social media.

STOP-CSAM: Weakens end-to-end encryption and gives new surveillance powers to law enforcement.

Also, lest you think furries won't be effected by this, I'd Google "anti-furry legislation" in the US and see what comes up. These bills could do more than just expand censorship and spying online, they could outright destroy sites like FA.
