We previously caught a glimpse of the front wheel of this 1957 Ford Thunderbird here. This time the green of the grass adds to the red/black/white/chrome goodness. We get a better look at the spoked design of the wheel cover and the nice bit of trim over the rear wheel well.

The 90s T-birds are a lot more fun than the 00's reissue, and built a lot better. I've known people with the '00s and they all say its great to look at but its always breaking somewhere and it spends more time at the garage than on the road. Can't even do much yourself , since the 2000s really wanted everything to run through dealerships which became the norm... As far as a "new" T-bird, go for the 90s, or even the 80s and you can get a supercharged model!
*sigh* The 1957 Thunderbird...one of my very favourites, especially in Torch Red (like this one) or Aztec Copper (my personal favourite colour).
This one even has the optional combination of chrome-trimmed fender skirts and the classy Kelsey-Hays wire wheels with the spinner-style center caps. Very nice indeed...
FUN CAR-NERD TRIVIA: The early '60s Thunderbird roadsters couldn't be ordered with both the spinner-style wheels and the fender skirts due to clearance issues between the spinners and the skirts. If you see a 1960-64 Thunderbird roadster with spinners and skirts, it's not a factory-built example.
