I wish the shows I dug had a more considerable youtube presence

I definitely like the old fashioned anime with its simplistic designs. (actually I like many new Japanese stuff, I just personally dislike the overly detailed shiny eyes kawaiiiii stuff you see a lot... I guess you know what I mean) I think I like Baikinman most for his stupid voice, although I have no idea what the crap he's saying.

So what shows do you like? My knowledge on not-40s cartoons is... not much

Japanese Cartoons that I can actually talk about here? Dokonjo Gaeru (The Gutsy Frog), Hippo and Thomas and Tamagon come to mind. This isn't me being snobbish, this is from living in a country that only got a second channel in the early 90's.

Aah I didn't know any of those, thanks for sharing! Well exept Ox Tales ofcourse, since it's animated in Japan and technically an anime... but it's actually Dutch. It's a Dutch comic called Boes (the newspaper comic was called 'Dierenleed', 'animal suffering/torture'). There's both longer stories where the ox is the main character, but mostly they were three panel gags about random animals and recurring characters. Pretty much all the gags in the episodes literally come from the comic strips.

If you're into old-timey anime, may I suggest Gegege no Kitaro? I personally like the 80s version, and Hakaba Kitarou (the more dark, grown-up verison) but the original one has a lot of charm.

they are cute drawing, i havnt seen much of the show because we only watched like 1-2 episodes in my japanese class but i enjoyed the show.

oh man though i loovee thesse. You draw them in such a nice squishy round style! I love anpanmans scary "im going to beat you up" face ahahaha. And them holding hands aawww ;v; yes do what the english teacher says! I love their voices too, baikinmans so recognizable, and anpanmans so oddly adorable and child-like for how his face looks XD
