When you have the ability to shrink down larger sized beings/beasts into a bite sized snack, you might want to make sure you put enough oomph into the ability to make sure it lasts long enough for digestion to kick in, and not have them revert mid belly squirming. It seems like this meal is going to last a lot longer than planned, and Subete might take a break from eating for a bit after this incident, letting his stretchy tails take in prey and share the nutrients.
