This was another birthday present from 
cathyoak, depicting me with my two cats. Well, actually... Ziggy, the gray shorthair tabby in my lap, is my roommate's. But Ember, the tortoiseshell longhair on my shoulder, is my own. And my shoulder is indeed one of her favorite places to be. Which is terribly cute, but I usually have to hold her in place with one arm, which is something of a pain when I want to, you know, do anything with that arm. I try to shoo her off gently, but don't always succeed. There's about a one in three chance she will either bap my face as I shift her, or chew on my cell phone recharging cable in retribution once I set her down. I still love her, though.
Ziggy just wants attention. Always.
