A couple of characters from Nonexistence. Nefand found Voy in an unconscious state and dragged him to his house, considering Voy one of the creatures "with his problem" - Voy had no flesh of his own and his consciousness existed inside his armor.
Voy, in turn, met Nefand by accident when he [Voy] freaked out on Simon because of a phase shift in his consciousness. Simply put, Voy emotionally exploded on Simon, and the emotions in Voy were accumulated long enough due to Voy's inability to adequately express them. Eventually, Voy escaped through the wormhole to the other world. Because he spent too much energy expressing his own emotions, he passed out immediately, that is, upon arriving in the new world.
