I tried out a method of shading I've only tried once before, and while I think this is cool, I think I'm more suited to the old slap-on-some-color rather than going through the motions of grayscale. it just wound up being a little too time-consuming and a little too overwhelming (see: over detail...) for it to be worth it. some other time I'll try it again, I'm sure!
