The other fairies all laughed when my fairy nurses unveiled N.U.R.S.E.M.A.I.D. But when the Bunny Pox plague hit, she proved invaluable. Being mechanical, she couldn't be infected. And working with the poor infected fairies, she could be properly sterilized afterward to stop the plague from spreading too.
Yep, she didn't end up looking like a bunny, having to spend time in quarantine to be sure she wasn't infectious after tending poor fairy bunny girls, and could be quickly sterilized for faster turnaround times.
I hear as a reward the others were thinking of making her a real pixie. While flattered N.U.R.S.E.M.A.I.D. says she's thinking it over. Apparently, there are advantages to being mechanical.
