This was a fun shot XD I love pictures that tell a story. This particular story: I was enjoying the unseasonable 73F weather (in the middle of February in DC) taking pictures of geese, gulls, and ducks down at the pond at the Washington Mall. I had just wrapped up and while walking back I saw this especially brave goose walking closer and closer this kid and mom sitting on a bench. I assume they were eating. The kid was really amazed by this brave goose. I thought I would sneak behind and pull a quick shot (was stuck with my 80-200mm since I wasn't going to let this moment pass) and when I got back there and saw this composition, I knew I had to get it. I like it since it seems unusually tense given the lightness of the actual situation.

What I did: Slight cropping to get rid of the back of the bench, converted to black and white to up the tension and thats it.
