Im walking back from wandering around the capital mall in downtown DC. Im right on the main sidewalk that is in front of all the Smithsonians; a VERY high traffic area that is completely surrounded by dense city. Suddenly this BIG ass red tailed hawk (thanks!) swoops in a hundred feet in front of me 5 feet off the ground right across the sidewalk. Everyone sees it and reacts in amazement. The hawk decides to land on a government building branch a few feet from me. I rush over to take pictures. This is one of the results =D This is the most clear shot I could get given the type of dense trees these are.

What I did: basic raw tweaks and cropped it down a tad for less clutter.
