Wayne is the main protagonist of Dusk. He is a young man from the town of Zeed in the northeastern parts of Terra. When he was a baby, Wayne gained a mysterious power from an unknown entity. As he got older, he began to discover this power and utilize it. Referred to as the Dusk Embrace, Wayne would use it to fight off any Wilies that came to his town. After a gang of Wilies caused serious damage to Zeed, Wayne went out on a journey to find a way to make money to help repair the damaged town. Eventually, he found a resistance group called the Wily Busters, who would pay him to stop minor and major Wilies. Though Wayne is rebellious, wise cracking, and overall punkish, he has his heart in the right place. His well intentions are also met with aggressive and loose cannon behavior. Wayne's impulsive nature often leads to him disobeying orders and getting himself into trouble. However, that same recklessness shows that he's willing to do what he believes is the right way.
