Kuro finally catches Ori and prepares to unleash her furious punishment. Will Ori escape? Or be crushed by the owl's mighty talons?

Ori and the Blind Forest, and its sequel Will of the Wisps, are two of my favourite games of all time. I love them. And yet, it's funny to think the only reason I tried them in the first place was because of the awesome giant owl that featured in the trailer. Giant birds always get my attention, but ones that make it a point to snatch and crush things in their grip on multiple occasions throughout the game? Oof... I can't help but imagine what it'd be like to be a toy in her talons.

This is a pretty old commission. So much so, that it was credited to my previous-to-previous account ( Aprec8 ), before I had even adopted my current username. The artist nailed the mood, lighting and colors!

Kuro (the owl) and Ori (the little guy) are both from Ori and the Blind Forest
