Commission for someone at work, who wanted a sketch of Ariel from Disney's "Little Mermaid." This is my first time drawing Ariel.
The scanner ate the heck out of the color. I might be better off taking a photo, as I did during that one period years ago when I had no computer and was producing nothing but colored pencil sketches.
Note: Ariel is technically not human, she's a mythological creature and she's half-fish, so hopefully she's not totally out of place on FA. In the film, she's 16. This is not intended to be an adult picture in any way. This is how she dressed in the G-rated animated film.
