My motivation for Putt was basically to make a character design that was so simple that literally anybody could draw him. It's basically just a blob with a face. Though really you can say this about Kirby as well, which again was an inspiration for Putt, but I decided to take it to a different direction, being a lot more direct about him being an amoeba. He only has two colours (three if you're counting black I guess) though the darker blue is slightly transparent. He's basically a shapeshifter, though in a way where you can tell that it's obviously still him; not exactly in a pop-culture or a 'Ditto' sense where they look exactly the same as what they're mimicking besides a weird face or something.
