From a meme that Mordenheim and I discussed for way too long, lol. It’s the one where someone thinks they picked up their cat, but then their actual cat turns out the following day and now they have two identical cats.

Turns out, the mad scientist down the road felt really bad that you lost your cat and cloned it from stray hairs. And then accidentally cloned it a couple more times. And then uses one of his genetically altered lab mice to look after them.

They’re sleeping in Mr. Mouse’s nest of worn out toys that he’s mended, nibbled clothes and pillows, and his favorite books.
