Did you know that Gilbert Baker's original Pride flag had eight stripes instead of six? The pink, representing sex, and the turquoise, representing magic, were removed when these fabrics were difficult to mass-produce. But sex and magic both belong at my kind of pride! The ninth white stripe in the middle was added by Estevao Romane in 2018 to symbolize diversity and unity within the queer community. (Baker himself picked lavender to represent diversity as the ninth stripe, but he put it on top of the flag, and I think diversity fits better in the center. Plus, white feels more symbolic for diversity as it absorbs all colors of the rainbow!)

Taz is a fisher! Perhaps someday FA will give me a more specific tag than "mustelid (other)" lol
