Would it help you feel better if posted some of the pics I drew sophmore year of high school when I first discovered anime(DBZ)? I can assure they are quite craptastic.

Well, the next time I'm drunk off my ass I'll consider it. In any case the best advice that can be given about getting better at drawing is "Keep Drawing!" Practice goes a long way to making perfect. Also, don't compare yourself to art to others. Just get inspired by it. You compare yourself to others and you'll always feel inadequate. If you look at something awesome and say "I'm gonna draw something like that!" instead of "I could never draw something like that." you're already half way to drawing something like that. Art comes from inside so if inside you don't think you're good enough then you're never going to be able to get it to come out right. The power of positive thinking should not be underestimated.
