I’ve been getting back to the Yakuza/Like a Dragon games (which you should play), and now that I’m on Yakuza 5 I figured I’d show this amusing fun fact. Karaoke is a notable mini game in the series, and you’ve probably heard a song or two if you’re familiar with certain parts of 2020’s meme culture, such as Baka Mitai/ the “Dame Da Ne” song. However, there’s a song in Yakuza 5 that I’m surprised nobody has picked up on given how bizarre the lyrics and imagery are. This is an in-game screen shot of what I’m talking about. What did the devs mean by this?

Silly bit aside, I haven’t drawn in over a year and I thought this was a funny way to de-rust, especially since I’ve never seen any diaper content of the game’s cute karaoke mascots. Also, the “lyrics” roughly translate to “Wear diapers! The potty has no purpose!”
