Ugh yeah, I actually bought an Anpanman-face shaped anpan roll once...the bread was good but the bean paste was AWFUL D: I'm sorry Anpanman I find you disgusting... *shame*

I know nothing of his origin story. I know he has a bunch of other bread-headed friends though. ^.^;;

I used to have the same pencil when I drew on paper. Now I do only digital, I can't see any point drawing stuff on paper when you do same on digital, twice the work when paper has same thing and then scan,then trace etc :P.

It definitely seems like it might be quicker, but I ink on paper too so I only have to scan! Also my tablet won't work right now! Also I love drawing on paper because it's right there in front of me and then I get to work with markers. Drawing on the computer feels unnatural and weird to me, I never "sketch" on the computer, it just aint right to my hand, nor to my eyes. ):

But drawing digitally is horrible! I hate sketching and especially hate inking on the pc, and if I could I'd do all coloring traditionally as well...

and i never ink on pcnor sketch, i just draw without doing any sketch :P.

I dunno, I just find it extremely hard to make nice lines with my tablet, and after five minutes I always want to throw it out of the window D: I only use brushes and ink.
Not making a sketch in my case would be... disastrous

I love traditional sketching and colouring but you can do some great stuff with digital colouring

I find that traditional stuff has a blotchier messier look with higher impact while digital stuff is more refined with added line detail but a more uniform texture

Both are good for certain projects; I don't like how digital is becoming a kind of standard though

Standards are dumb when it comes to art

It's kinda cool to get an "insider's glimpse" at your work method! The comics actually feel more like real life comics when you get to see an in-progress shot like this! :D

I love the expressions on Queenie and Penelope in the last panels... And darn you Anpanman! Your giant bulbous bread head is conveniently blocking everything. :P
