Well duhhhhh.
It's the Year of the Rabbit right now, you gotta wait a few =/
But time...coincedentally, I'm listening to a song called 'Running Out', (80's ish group called Scissor Sisters), now, for the wisdom.
No one sees the future in complete certainty, we may get glimpses of what may be, or fool ourselves into believing an outcome or unavoidable circumstance, but never can you tell that a span of time will always be filled with things that work against you.
(Now, don't mind me =b 'stead, give 'The Clock' by Thom Yorke a listen, music can touch deeper than words)

I gotta remember though, what I say can come off the wrong way, like, it might make somebody feel that they can't vent. (I got all my bases covered, but sometimes, I wonder if the overcomplication is worth it -_-)

I actually felt the same way... D:
My cat died, and the person who I wanted to spend my life with rejected me over his "future family." But then I realized, even though those are pretty bad, I was focusing on them too much. After I think of all the fun I've had with friends and all the new friends I made, I feel a lot better. :3 *hugs* I hope you will, too. <3

I know this a six month old submission but I just read it now so I don't care. I thought the drawing and prose where beautifully melancholic and a perfect description of what 80% of us go through life. We see the blessed, pretty people on TV going to red carpet events, going to work everyday not to pay the bills and keep a roof over there head but because they love what they do. People ask how we're doing and we respond with "oh I'm fine" or "Not too bad" because we don't want to show unhappiness. We don't wanna hear the same, "Don't worry, keep trying! This is just a bad rut you'll get out of." so we smile and say "I'm fine".
That dog covering his snout is both sweet and empathetic to how I feel. Wanna hug him/her
