Took a page from  jill0r's book and used puffy fabric paint for the pawpads on my Icemoon plush. This color is called "Island Blue" and it's a little iridescent/pearlescent. I love how they turned out, now I just need to needle sculpt them and attach the legs and arms to the body.

As far as durability goes, they feel like they'll be fine as long as they're not picked at (like if a child tried to pry them off), but they should do alright for everyday handling/manipulation.
