It's an artist thing, especially when the artists are perfectionists, I know I can spend hours drawing one ear just to make sure the arc is correct XD

The only things that strike me as odd or "bad" are the muzzle and left arm. The muzzle seems too round and oddly connected and I think the left arm might be too thin? But that might just be me trying to scrutinize after being told its a failure...I don't see it as one though

My favorite motivational poster I ever saw was name d"Failure"- it showed a Kenyan marathon runner lying on the ground grasping a clearly broken leg and it said "FAILURE- You tried your best and it just wasn't good enough."

It's the anti-motivational poster. One shows a bunch of pimply-faced teens at a Renaissance Faire and says "IMAGINATION- Using it guarantees your bachelorhood for as long as you live."

Another one shows a Middle Eastern man with a naked back all covered in whip markings, saying "INDIVIDUALISM- You thought that not paying tribute to the Beloved Despot was unnecessary- now do you feel differently?"

About the weird look I guess. Proportions are all off too and just the face wasn't coming together well. I'm going to try doing a bunch of bunny heads today if I can find some half-way decent reference. I picture rabbits a bit more realistic for some reason. If I think toony, I can only picture Bugs Bunny.
