I love golden retrievers, so when I saw a tweet by SharpySketch on Twitter with just an image of the hat and the text "I wanna draw a goofy golden retriever character in this hat", I took that personally.

So I gave him the "bear shaped" treatment and made him very friend shaped.

My lore for this character is that he was given the "BALL" cap by some of his trainees in the baseball team as a joke, which inadvertently transformed him into a golden retriever.
But after a while, they realized he was just about the same as before and he hadn't even seem to notice it in the first place, so no harm no foul.
