I've noticed the last several cycles that my dear Technician and Anomaly 17 have been spending time together more frequently. While I don't mind and rather let my dear purposed organism do his tasks at his own pace... I do hope this friendship doesn't distract him from the vital repair work he needs to perform! Regardless of that minor worry, I uh... have a new addition to Anomaly 17's list of oddities...

Particularly, one of their ways of.... showing affection?

This does make me fear for my dear Technician's life, as I've noted the Anomaly very much seems to enjoy licking and seemingly teasing at the dear slugcat. What is interesting is while initially showing signs of fear and disgusts, Tech's increasing lack of fear to these sort of behaviors has me perplexed, even when the Anomaly bears its teeth and shows its mouth to him! Does... does he like that? I might need to consider further investigation actually... While I doubt the Anomaly will go as far as suddenly changing its mind on the friendship, I've noted that sort of behavior in most lizard and Cyan/Orange units with friendships between Slugcats.

ADE: Is it normal for a Lizard to eat its prey and then spit it back out hours later?
ADE: I just witnessed.... 'Pancakes' eat Technician and then spit it back out when leaving their den.
DSP: Ah
